The technology behind Amperia™

Redox Electrochemical Detection (RED)

Amperia™ uses RED to convert biochemical interactions into precise, measurable electrical signals.

Disposable sensor strips are pre-coated with target-specific chemistry. As the assay proceeds, enzyme-driven reactions produce redox-active species that interact with the sensor surface, generating a current that reflects the amount of bound target.

The system’s patented configuration enables consistent signal capture and simplified handling – without relying on optical components or complex fluidics.

Amperia™ follows a straightforward 5-step workflow that’s easy to adopt and simple to run. While the assay logic is similar to ELISA, capture, bind, detect, the process is more contained, with fewer manual steps and no need for wash stations or plate readers.
